  7. AIM's Utility Benchmark - Milestone uses actual UNIX tools, performs different
  8. tasks repetitively, is immune to excessive CPU instruction and data caching,
  9. and is functionally representative of real user loads. Milestone uses the
  10. Bourne shell command language to provide control and shell scripts while
  11. standard UNIX commands (utilities) provide the user tasks. By simulating seven
  12. different user types, Milestone invokes Standard UNIX Utilities that perform
  13. for the specified user types. User types with their associated UNIX commands
  14. are Administrative Assistant, Calculator/Spreadsheet, Database User, Manager,
  15. Scientist, Software Engineer, and Text Processing. Milestone is extremely
  16. portable with the results being highly repeatable.
